Welcome to our new website. In the coming months this site will be developed to include many useful items, links and general information about our trade, and the members of the Western Timber Association.
It was announced at our Annual dinner on Thursday 12th February that our area is to change it’s name from “The Bristol Channel and Western Timber Association” to a more streamlined “Western Timber Association” (WTA).
At our AGM in March I took over from our past chairman Ian Attwood, and I would like to thank him for all his hard work on behalf of your regional committee.
Business is very tough at the moment and as we trade through these uncertain times its very important for us all to support our area as much as possible. Both the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and the WTA as a regional association of the TTF, are here to give as much information, help and assistance as possible. We hope you will find this website useful over the coming months, and I look forward to hearing of any comments you may have on what information you would like to see on this website.
In the meantime please let me wish you all good trading through 2010.
